Florida Highway Patrol announced a fatal crash on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The collision happened at roughly 9:45p.m. Wednesday evening, close to the intersection with Coconut Palm Drive east of Tampa.
Authorities closed the road while emergency crews worked to clear the road.
