Florida Highway Patrol reported a deadly accident in Brandon involving a motorcyclist.
The crash occurred just after 11:30 at night when thirty year old Ryan Lundy, of Tampa was heading west on S.R. 60 approaching the intersection with Limona Road.
As Lundy neared the intersection a 98′ Ford Escort driven by eighteen year old Brandon resident Katrina Taylor was attempting to turn left from the eastbound lanes of S.R. 60 onto Limona. Taylor drover her Ford Escort directly in front of Lunday.
The motorcycle collided with the car at speed and Lundy died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Troopers added that charges would be filed.
