Authorities in Tampa announced a fatal pedestrian accident in Tampa.
The accident happened as an unidentified woman attempted to cross the north bound lanes of 50th Street East close to Broadway Avenue.
Officials from Tampa Police stated the woman apparently tried to cross the road outside of the crosswalk by running into the road.
Shortly after entering the roadway the woman was struck by a vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.
