Florida Highway Patrol announced a fatal crash between a motorcyclist and a car in Brandon.
The crash occurred as eighteen year old Brandon resident Katrina Taylor was eastbound on State Road 60 in a 1998 Ford Escort approaching Limona Road.
At the same time, thirty year old motorcyclist Ryan Lundy of Tampa closed on Limona Road also on State Road 60.
At roughly eleven forty at night, Taylor, attempted to turn left onto Limona Road from State Road 60 unaware of the Motorcyclist, and drove directly in front of and into Lundy’s motorcycle colliding at speed.
Lundy was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Taylor suffered minor injuries and was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital for treatment. Authorities has said charges are pending.
