Florida Highway Patrol announced a fatal accident between a Toyota Corolla and a GMC 1500 pick up truck Saturday evening, at roughly 10:45 p.m.
The accident took place as nineteen year old Karch Ross of North Redington Beach was riding as a passenger in a Toyota Corolla heading northbound on 28th Street North.
As the Toyota Corolla was attempting to make a turn onto 47th Avenue North, the compact sedan was struck by a full-sized GMC 1500 pickup truck driven by forty year old Tamnpa resident Kendal Bartholomew.
Ross sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
